What We Learned From the Wiki & Why We Like Wiki's!!!

You can make topics and let everyone know about something. YX

It taught us about keyboard shortcuts and you can share it with anyone (even aunts in Canada) and its easy to share. KC

You can create links instead of having to type in the address on the internet.  JO

You learn stuff that you may use in the future.  LA

You can use it from anywhere that has the internet! BM

You can learn more information about what you want to learn about. TV

It is easy to make it and easy to do.  MN

You can share information you learned. DB

I was absent for five days and was actually able to help my partner on the wiki! RC

You can learn new stuff!  Even from other classmates sites. ER

You can put everybody's ideas and research all together to make a solution. JM

It is easy to read and if you do a project and you don't do it on the computer it might come out sloppy. KJ

It is fun to make and it is fun to hear peoples responses of how they like it and stuff like that.  EN

There is a password so only people who know the password can make changes to our work. It isn't boring because you can have lots of pictures.  JL

I think it is good because as long as you have an email you can make one and so kids and adults can make one.  AM

It is a lot easier to organize your information on the computer than it is on paper. LA

If you make a mistake you can fix it.  MN

You don't run out of paper presenting it. And you don't have to use paper to make it!  RC

It is eco friendly.  KC

It is quick and easy to do. KC

You can find new websites on others and also put it on your own wiki. TV

Everyone with the password can edit it! YX

It is more than a powerpoint for all the reasons from before and you can also put a powerpoint in it. JO

Anybody anywhere around the world can view it (and with passwords edit it), unlike the powerpoint that can only be seen from your own computer. BM

If you have a question you can ask Mr. Martin through the wiki. MN

You can't lose the wiki because it is on the website. LA

It is fun learning about the different things that we researched. EN

The links help you find the information (the readers so they can know more about it). DB

All the wikis have different information. TV

If you forget something you can remember by reading the wiki pages. MN

It is good because you can have tabs or links to all the pictures and places you went.  AM

Not just the class can see it, but the people that log in the site can see it too. LA

Tip for making links to your page: Type the words that will link out, highlight them, click the globe/link button, DO NOT RENAME THE PAGE, click the ok button at the bottom.  Your linked words cannont contain anything but letters/numbers and a space.  -Mr.Martin.
