Amoebas!
Amoebas were discovered on august by Johann Rosel Von Rosenhof
in the year 1755.As people notice them they call them lengendary shape shifters.
They are really small so you have to use a microscope to see them
Prey: What it eats!!
It eats bacteria and other protozoans in the water that are smaller than itself. They also eat algae and can be parasitic. Parasitic means they live in or on another organism and take its nutrients.
Predators: What eats it!!
Zooplankton eats the amoebas. Viruses and bacteria (because of enzymes) can eat the amoeba, too.
Habitat:
It lives in ponds, ditches or slowly moving streams.
Life Cycle:
Amoebas grow and then divide. They do this over and over. They split into two many times in their life.
Fun Facts!!
Some amoebas are killer amoebas that enter through the nose and eats the brain.
They are shapless, boneless blobs!
Life Span:
They Live about two days before splitting into two.
