Hey wanna learn about endangered birds?!Well we sure do. take a look at what we found out.

Bald Eagles

Scientific name: Haliaeetus Leuscocesphalus.

Its the United State's bird.It was delisted on June 28,2007.

It is a magnifcent bird. Did you know that it is bigger than a regular sized hawk?

Hawaiian Hawk

Scientific name:Bueto Solitarius.

It defends its territories year round! It is complementry to its name. It is infact born in Hawaii.

It is a type of hawk in the hawk family. The Hawaiian hawk is much smaller than the Bald eagle.

Lets see how it looks like.

Mississippi Sandhill Crane

Scientific name:Grus canadensis

It's fossil is 2,5 million years old.You might think it comes from Mississippi but it doesn't, actually it comes from Nebraska.

It's not the type of crane that does construction, it's a kind of bird. It's small, but tall.

Prairie Chicken

Scientific name: Tympanuchus Cupido

The prairie chicken is 14" tall. They live in tall grass prairies. It has fat orange cheeks and large brown body.

Also we think the population is plumiting to a very dangerous level.

Rhea

Scientific name: Nandus

Chicks hatch within 36 hours of each other. they are 5 feet tall on average.Pretty small don't you think?

It's definetly smaller then an Ostrich. We are thinking that it's color is brown.

I really like what you have done so far! You have a nice collection of birds and it's obviously in your own words. Don't forget to tell where you find your information.
