Kilauea
Kilauea is the most active volcano on the planet. Kilauea is also the youngest volcano in the world. What is interesting about Kilauea is that it has it's own maga plumbing system extending to the surface from more than 60km deep into the earth. The eruption of Kilauea volcano that began in 1983 continues at cinder-and-spatter cone of pu'u'oo. Lava erupting from the cone flows througha tube system down pulama pali about 11km to the sea. The Hawaiian name "Kilauea" or "much spreading" apparently in refrence to lava flows that it erupts. We got our info from http://hvo.wr.usgs.gov/kilauea/ and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kilauea.
